The Republic Kitchen + Bar

Who They Are

The Republic Kitchen + Bar is a Texas-themed restaurant and bar located in Leander, Texas. They source local ingredients for their Texas forward menu, have a list of specialty cocktails including a mesquite smoked Old Fashion (our favorite) and have a tap list of over 20 beers. Paired with a number of bar games, a large outside patio and over 15 tv’s for live sports, RBK quickly became a go-to spot for Leander residents.

Project Overview

RBK approached just as they were signing the lease on their space, they were in need of everything. Logo design, branding, website, neon sign design, menus, promotional items, social media, stationary, you name it. We ran down our list of questions, checked out their mood board, scoped out the competition, did our research and jumped right into creative. Once the branding was set the path was paved for what became a beautiful space for some awesome owners, and now friends of Left Hand Design.

We chose the Squarespace platform for a fully functional, low maintenance solution for Republic Kitchen + Bar. The site was customized to be on-brand and easily editable for our client. Expandability won’t be a problem moving forward as the business grows, ensuring this will be a valuable tool for years to come.

A huge blank wall needed a centerpiece. Something custom and kick-ass. So we designed a ‘Come and Take It’ cannon inspired, 18′ animated neon to set the place off as people walk in. Mission accomplished.

This project was right up our alley.

A scrappy Texas-themed restaurant-bar with an upscale feel, yet rustic enough you won’t feel bad about tracking in a little mud, ordering a chicken fried steak and taking down a couple cocktails while watching some football.
